A stable internet connection
15 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps or more for 4K. Ethernet beats wifi if the option is there.
A player app
Kastvio works with any IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U. Each guide below names the ones that work best on that device.
Choose your device
Tap a device to open its step-by-step guide.
Fire TV StickFire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV built into a television.
- On your Fire TV home screen, open Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options and turn on Apps from Unknown Sources.
- Go back to the home screen, search for the Downloader app and install it.
- Open Downloader and enter the download address for your chosen IPTV player. Install the app when the download finishes.
- Launch the player and choose the Xtream Codes login option.
- Enter the server URL, username and password from your Kastvio welcome email, then save.
- Wait for the channel list and guide to load — the first load takes a minute or two. You are done.
Android TV & Android BoxesNvidia Shield, Chromecast with Google TV, Xiaomi, generic Android boxes.
- Open the Google Play Store on your device and install an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes — TiviMate and IBO Player are the usual choices.
- Open the player and add a new playlist or profile.
- Select Xtream Codes (or M3U playlist if the app asks) and enter the details from your welcome email.
- Give the profile a name and save it.
- Let the channel list and EPG download, then start watching. On TiviMate, set the buffer to a higher value if your connection is slow.
Samsung & LG Smart TVSamsung Tizen and LG webOS televisions, no extra hardware.
- Open your TV’s app store — Samsung Apps on Tizen, LG Content Store on webOS.
- Search for a supported IPTV player such as IBO Player, Smart IPTV or Net IPTV and install it.
- Open the app. It will show a MAC address and a device key on screen — write both down.
- Some of these apps require a one-off activation on the developer’s own website using that MAC address. Follow the instructions the app displays.
- Enter the server URL, username and password from your welcome email, or upload the playlist link where the app asks for it.
- Restart the app and your channels will appear.
Apple TV, iPhone & iPadApple TV 4K, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch.
- Open the App Store and install an IPTV player — GSE Smart IPTV and IPTV Smarters both work well on iOS and tvOS.
- Open the app and choose Add playlist or Xtream Codes API.
- Enter the credentials from your Kastvio welcome email.
- Enable the EPG option so the programme guide loads.
- Save and open the channel list. On Apple TV you can use the Siri remote to browse categories.
Windows & MacAny desktop or laptop computer.
- Install VLC Media Player (free, Windows and macOS) or a dedicated desktop IPTV player.
- In VLC, open Media → Open Network Stream.
- Paste the M3U playlist link from your welcome email and press Play.
- VLC will load the full channel list. Use View → Playlist to browse it.
- For a TV-style interface with a programme guide, install a desktop IPTV player instead and log in with your Xtream Codes details.
Android Phone & TabletAny Android phone or tablet, on wifi or mobile data.
- Install an IPTV player from the Google Play Store — IBO Player, IPTV Smarters or GSE Smart IPTV.
- Open the app and add a new playlist.
- Choose Xtream Codes and enter the server URL, username and password we emailed you.
- Save and let the channel list load.
- On mobile data, drop the stream quality if playback stutters — 4K over a mobile connection needs a strong signal.
Formuler & Set-Top BoxesFormuler Z8, Z10, Z11 and similar Android-based boxes.
- Turn the box on and make sure it is connected to the internet, ideally by ethernet cable.
- Open the MyTVOnline player that comes preinstalled, or install your preferred player from the store.
- Choose to add a new portal or playlist.
- Enter the portal URL or the Xtream Codes details from your welcome email.
- Save and restart the app. The channel list loads automatically.
RokuRoku stick, Roku Express, Roku-branded televisions.
- Roku does not allow IPTV player apps to be installed directly from its channel store in most regions.
- The usual workaround is screen mirroring: install an IPTV player on your phone or laptop, then cast the picture to the Roku.
- On Android, enable Screen Mirroring in your phone settings and select the Roku device.
- On Windows, press Win + K and choose the Roku from the list.
- If you plan to watch mainly on a television, a Fire TV Stick or Android box gives a far better experience than mirroring.
If something is not working
Work down this list in order — the fix is usually near the top.
- Check your connection first. Run a speed test on the device itself, not on your phone. You want at least 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps or more for 4K, with a stable connection rather than a fast one that drops.
- Re-enter your credentials carefully. Most login failures are a typo. Server URLs are case-sensitive and passwords often mix letters and numbers that look alike — copy and paste where you can.
- Update the player app. An outdated player is the single most common cause of channels loading but not playing. Update it before anything else.
- Restart the device and the router. Unplug both for thirty seconds. This clears far more streaming faults than it has any right to.
- Try without a VPN. If you use a VPN, turn it off and test again. A slow or distant VPN server adds latency and is a frequent cause of buffering.
- Clear the app cache. In your device settings, find the player app and clear its cache. Then reopen it and let the channel list rebuild.
- Use ethernet if you can. A cable beats wifi every time for live streams, particularly during big sporting events when everyone is watching at once.
- Still stuck? Message us. Tell us your device, your player app and what exactly happens. Most problems are settled in a couple of replies.
Setup Questions
How long does setup take?
Most people are watching within five to ten minutes. Installing the player app takes the longest; entering your credentials takes under a minute.
Do I need to buy a box?
No. If you have a smart TV, a phone, a laptop or a streaming stick you already own, that is enough. A Fire TV Stick or Android box is worth buying only if your television is older and has no apps of its own.
Which player app should I use?
TiviMate on Android and Fire TV, GSE Smart IPTV or IPTV Smarters on iOS, IBO Player on Samsung and LG. Any player supporting Xtream Codes or M3U will work — use whichever you find easiest.
What internet speed do I need?
Around 15 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps or more for 4K. Stability matters more than headline speed: a steady 20 Mbps beats an unreliable 100.
Can I test before paying?
Yes. Start with the free trial, set it up exactly as you would a paid subscription, and check the channels you actually care about on the device you will really use.
How many devices can I set up?
You can install the player on as many devices as you like. Your plan limits how many can stream at the same time — from one to four depending on which you chose.
Do I need a VPN?
Not to use the service. Some people prefer one for privacy, and it can help if your provider throttles streaming in the evenings. If you use one, pick a fast provider and a nearby server.
What if my device is not listed here?
Message us with the make and model. If it runs apps and connects to the internet, there is usually a way — and if there genuinely is not, we will tell you straight.
